We provide hourly hotel stays marked at a fractional cost to a total night rate. Perfect for naps, privacy, or just a daycation. Ideal for situations like a layover, intimate moments with a partner, pool day, etc...
@aditya_dutt Definitely the ability to use the hotel's facility without even needing to purchase a room at all. For example, using the hotel lounge, gym, cafe, business center, lounge, etc...
@don__bosco Thanks for sharing Don! We are targeting college students who left with their parents or roommates and need more privacy. What do you see our target customer looking like?
@aditya_dutt Haha, I see the use case there:) I travel a lot, and it would be nice to pop into a luxury hotel's ambience for a few hours without having to pay for an actual stay. Working on your laptop from hotel lobbies is a thing, but people have to pretend like they're guests. Or if you're in a busy city and need to escape the chaos for an hour or two to recharge.
@aditya_dutt@don__bosco There are definitely a few hotel gyms where I would take advantage of this. I've also rented hotel rooms in the past just for a change of environment and different place to work since so many offices closed down during COVID.
Another side effect of this that I like is the potential for adjusting the standard hotel time clock where you check in and 3 PM and check out at noon. I always feel like I'm wasting money when I check in at 1 AM and have less than 12 hours before turning around and checking out again.
It sure would be nice to be able to say, I'll check in at midnight and leave at 10 PM the next night instead of noon.
"The future of hospitality is here" This line suits perfect with your product. This is one of the best product i see today on PH but i am not sure why you are not trending on top
This isn't a real product, just a pitch with a website that has no inventory and doesn't belong on Product Hunt. This space is crowded with competitors that don't *really* make any money (ActiveSpace, Breather, PeerSpace, LiquidSpace, WeWork) and are mostly real estate schemes. They usually stay afloat because they own their property, whereas your pitch has to survive on the margin or rented space subleased by the hour. The office space pitch seems a bit weak, and you might want to investigate "hotels rented by the hour" as a tag line a bit more, it has strong connotations that you might not want for your concept, or you might...?
@jaredzimmerman Hey Jared, I appreciate your feedback. Sorry I am new to product hunt and just wanted to post our MVP and idea to get some customer validation. We plan to do a soft launch before the end of the year, so please stay tuned for that! We wouldn't quite define ourselves as space renting but more of a booking site, like booking.com and hotelstonight.com. We are just partnering with the hotels and providing our customers this rate that isn't normally advertised and take a commission cut from each booking. We see our users using this more than just for work but for all sorts of instances like pool days, naps, or just a private space to yourself, loved ones, or friends for birthdays or watch parties. I hope that clears things up. I would love to hear more about your thoughts! Feel free to DM our Instagram @lululalaoffical or email us at lululalatechnologies@gmail.com.
