Ludus is a new presentation tool for creative people, see it as PowerPoint for the 21st century.
For me it´s a simple an intuitive presentation tool for designers made by designers.
Found this solution while searching for a PowerPoint alternative that let you use iframes while presenting. Enter Ludus. The smart blocks are innovative, the software is snappy, and with the iframe support, it's exactly what we needed to shine when demonstrating our web app to investors and clients. The only bug I've noticed is after updating a draft presentation, the present mode doesn't recognize the draft has been published right away. This doesn't cause technical glitches but the "draft" status message is a little distracting. Overall, I'm really glad I found this solution. You guys are a step ahead. Keep it up!!
Created a 14 slide presentation with a mixture of vectors (Noun Project), images (Unsplash), video (mp4 upload) and a custom font (TTF). Putting the slides together was easy, but I really miss features such as image cropping and transitions on individual elements.
Having said, I can safely say I'll be using this over Powerpoint from here on out in the hope that these small UX improvements are put in place.
I love Ludus. I use it for presentations which I have to give on the fly, because they all live in the cloud and I can present them anywhere I can get to a web browser. Genius.
Typically a few options already available from most of the online presentation tools but it's also what makes Ludus different from the mass. They're challenging features and roll out basic stuff along the way.
