Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Just launched LinkedIn MCP – now your AI assistant can use LinkedIn for you! Imagine asking Claude, Cursor, VS Code, or Windsurf to: 💬 "Search for product managers at fintech companies in New York". 💬 "Find all decision makers at Acme Corp and send them connection requests". 💬 "Get all my pending connection requests and withdraw each one of them". 💬 "Pull contacts labeled 'follow-up' from my CRM and send personalized messages". ...and it just does it. No coding. No scripts. Just natural conversation with your AI. 🎯 What makes it special: Your AI gets access to 30+ LinkedIn tools through our secure cloud browser: search, connect, message, analyze – everything you do manually, but your assistant handles it based on your instructions. ⚡ Setup takes 2 minutes: Get tokens → Add config → Start automating 🚀 Perfect for: Sales teams, recruiters, and anyone tired of LinkedIn's daily grind. We're excited to see what you'll build with this! Questions? Fire away!

Cool! Do you handle cool down periods etc? Linkedin has notoriously strict rate limits.

Vlad Prudnikov

@sentry_co we don't restrict your limits directly, because each LinkedIn account is unique in terms of limits (many factors like account age, SSI, paid plan existence influence your limits).

But we offer the following approach: there is a really cool guide on how to choose safe limits for a certain LinkedIn account in our blog: https://linkedapi.io/guides/understanding-linkedin-limits/. With this guide, you can estimate your limits for your specific case.

After this, you have the ability to monitor your usage statistics asking AI something like "what is my usage stats?" or "did I already hit X limit?". AI responds naturally using 'get_api_usage_stats' MCP tool, so it can help you to decide whether it's safe to continue your work or if it's better to slow down.

Very good overview! Altho these limits change all the time 😅. And no one really knows for sure how they work. So your always at risk of going to linkedin jail or being shaddow limited. I think thats the core pain with LI automation. Constant worry that your gonna get marked for llife. Like LI accounts, you can only have one. thats it. Im not sure if it can be solved. Maybe with some trickle strategy spread out of time. Or something. I dont know. Or maybe add a "super safe mode" option / checkbox. Just a checkbox of some kind? that would make me confident in using LI automation I think. one question. The way you use browser. i presume its in the MCP client it self, so my IP shows up in linkedin? or does it start chrome or is it remote browser?

Vlad Prudnikov

@sentry_co it works a as a remote browser, that completely mimics your digital identity. You can read more details about how we ensure this at our safety page: https://linkedapi.io/safety/.

Can LinkedIn detect that I'm using your MCP?

Vlad Prudnikov

@twinklee_ee no, our security systems make MCP completely undetectable. To LinkedIn, it looks exactly like you're using your account normally from your usual device and location. You can read more details about how we ensure this at our safety page: https://linkedapi.io/safety/.
