LifeLog records daily activities, when you do them, and how you’re satisfied with those activities. This data will tell you which activities you spend your time on each day, identify which activities are highly satisfying and when you’re likely to waste time.
Hey Product Hunt community! 😺
We are thrilled to share our latest creation, LifeLog, with all of you 😄🎉. We are also very excited as this is our first time posting a product on Product Hunt 😅.
In this app, you can record the details of your daily activities, the time you spent on them, and your satisfaction level with each activity. From this data, you can identify the times and activities where you tend to waste time, and discover new activities that bring you high satisfaction 🔍✨. For example, you might discover a passion for volunteer work, realize that reading gives you more satisfaction than watching movies, or accurately identify patterns of wasting time at night. You might encounter unexpected insights.
Life is limited in time. Let’s minimize the time wasted and maximize the fun and fulfilling times!🚀✨
This release is a big step for LifeLog, but it’s just the beginning🚶♀️. We hope that all of you will actually touch the app and become a member of the LifeLog community. Your voices are extremely valuable in continuing to evolve and improve the app. If you have friends or family who want to spend their limited time in life more meaningfully, please tell them about LifeLog. We would appreciate your support in spreading our information and improving the time and usage of many people🙏.
Looks amazing. My curious mind wants to know, how did you learn that it improves productivity by 25% and happiness by 30%?
Btw: congratulations on the launch and good luck today!
@saifrkhaan Thanks for your comment!😄
This data is the result of a study I conducted with several students from my university. We had them use an app for about a week and measured how much their ability to concentrate on their work improved before and after using the app. We also surveyed how much their subjective happiness changed during that week compared to before.
Furthermore, there are actual cases where recording one’s satisfaction with their actions is utilized in cognitive behavioral therapy, and I believe this can be expected to have a positive impact on our lives.
Also, there is a book by Paul Dolan, a professor of behavioral science at the London School of Economics, called “Happiness by Design: Finding Pleasure and Purpose in Everyday Life”. Part of the content of this book suggests that by recording the ‘pleasure’ and ‘achievement’ of daily actions, one can feel a certain increase in happiness, and it is believed that this can lead to a happier life.
