Here’s a little background on what we're trying to do, and how we're different to legacy search engines... No ads: Free from advertising and ad-tech. Choose how you see results with different views: From simple text to visual feeds. Fighting SEO spam: We're working to reduce spam in search results. Direct answers to questions and key information up-front. We protect your privacy: We don't store any cookies or searches, there is no ad-tech and searches are anonymous and private. Reader mode: Read content from many sites without ads or distraction. Direct Navigation: Go direct to websites and apps: "go product hunt", and results on websites: "go twitter elonmusk dogecoin". Any and all feedback is encouraged and appreciated 🙏🥰

Love using LazyWeb - no ads and unbiased search results are relieving! The search quality is great and the format you get your results is more convenient. And my favourite functionality is the article reader - you don't have it anywhere else!

@alexander_kabirov Thanks Alex! Reader view is getting better all the time and we have some big improvements coming. It's getting better at extracting content (including from soft paywalls), and it does a good job of protecting privacy too! I'm really excited it's your favourite feature and it's probably mine too 😀

Hey Angela, This seems pretty cool! I have a question though, considering this is ad-free and a privacy-first approach. How do you plan on sustaining this? How will you pay to keep the servers running?

@uziiuzair Thanks Uzair! We plan to make money a few ways, but always with trust and ethics as our top priority. 1. If a user buys something after searching, we may make a small commission from anonymous referral links. We will share revenue 50/50 with content producers used in the search. 2. We will have some paid Pro and Business plans in future. 3. We will provide a chat plugin that businesses can offer for search and navigation on public or internal sites. We will never sell ads and we will never sell your data :)
