Very useful tool to organize screens on macOS. And a perfect contact with the creator after spotting a bug.
Lightning fast, intuitive UI, easy to use. It does exactly what you expect it to, and does it well. This couldn't get better! I find myself using the same two-app layout for the same apps, I wish I could do it in one step instead of having to repeat the operation after focusing each window, but this is already lightyears better than having to position the windows manually! I wish I could set the "Distance between windows" to match the margins the system uses for the system Picture in Picture playback. Would take away from the guesswork 😅
Solves my exact need for windows management without being too bloated.
This is an amazing window manager unlike most other ones on the market. I love that it allows me to "draw" where and how big I want a window to be! It's lightning fast and super easy to use. I use it on a daily basis and it's truly one of those apps that I can't use a Mac without.
Lasso sets itself apart from other tools I've tried with this one feature: customizable window padding settings. Adjusting the gap between each window and tailoring it for different screens allows for precise and consistent window placement. I personally don't like the look of two windows being smashed side-by-side, and Lasso takes care of this. As a frequent user of Better Touch Tool, this consistency is key for my macros to work optimally. Lasso ensures that my windows are always where I need them to be. Coupled with a user-friendly interface, Lasso earns a solid 5-star rating for improving productivity seamlessly.
It's the perfect window manager for Mac. I have a 49" screen plus a vertical 23" screen. And this tool makes it so seamless to operate that huge screen real estate. It covers all the use cases I have, including the recently added "move to next screen" control. I used "Magnet" before, but switched for good now to Lasso.
I have been using Lasso for several months and have to say I am a delighted customer. It works perfectly and is predictable. I can recommend it to anybody who prefers to have a clean screen, perfect shapes or has an OCD...😂
Just like Pasty, these guys have thought it through and done their homework. This tool has all the features of the competition and then some. Moving the tools that we use forward into the future. Worth more than they ask!
