so far so good. it has most features of loom although I'd like fewer clicks to be able to start up a video and also to have a "continue recording" feature or way to stitch videos together for sharing. I had to stop a video for an unexpected interruption and you can only start over and stitch them together in another app
Komodo decks was a loom alternative for me. I just tried out the software for fun and made some videos for my customers. The result is the following. I am really hooked with Komodo. I really made it looks like my company's platform. Also, the uptime of the videos are nearly 100% and there wasn't a problem recording everything and allocate my recordings to files and put call to action in every video. Really glad i use Komodo and i think every small business owner, coach or instructor should use it!
I have used Komodo for several months now and find the screen recordings and guides super useful for showing clients and my team a variety of instructions that could not be explained without the Visual explanation. Easy to use, easy to edit, easy to recommend.
I use this tool to teach how to make a digital planner in my fun job and as a Subject Matter Expert to help end user's use their software efficiently. It has saved me hours, and I just love everything about it. Anytime there has been an issue the response has been amazingly quick and the problem is always resolved. This software makes my life better every single day! :)
I have used it today for the first time and I have managed to create a video guide very quickly. Didn't know how to do something and the support was quick, so I have managed to resolve it right away. The end result looks good, but the real benefit is automatic step creation, with titles.

I have added KomodoDecks into my workflow. Working with busy clients, freelancers on a different timezone, etc... I'm able to get a quick recording done - which is easier than a long text - and everybody can watch at their earliest convenience and comment too.
