Ivory is a brand new app that brings over a dozen years of experience building the award-winning Tweetbot for Twitter, over to the Mastodon network. We obsess over every detail and put good design and experience first. If you liked Tweetbot, you’ll love Ivory!

I depend on Ivory for Mac -- as well as iPad and iPhone -- as my standard Mastodon client. Great UX, thoughtful feature support, excellent performance.

I’ve used Ivory for Mac for quite a while during the beta period – it’s really a great app to browse Mastodon! It feels like the old Tweetbot for Mac and of course Ivory for iOS, which are great apps as well. My favorite feature is the timeline sync between the iOS and macOS version. As it is a Catalyst app, it has some quirks here and there, but nothing hugely bothering all in all. Unfortunately there are some things still missing, like custom instance emoji, a synced notifications tab or language selection when posting (just to name a few). Some are on Tapbots roadmap, which is great. Though, that was the reason to „only“ give 4 stars. Can’t wait for more updates!

I was a faithful user of Tweetbot for Mac for many years and Ivory for Mac is even better. The interface is familiar for experienced users and user friendly for new. It syncs seamlessly with the iOS version and makes my Mastodon experience while on my desktop a joy.
