Hello Product Hunters!
This is Gary, co-founder of Interstacks - Snap-together electronic blocks with a visual authoring tool for rapid hardware building.
Pick the hardware blocks you want, snap them together, then use the free drag and drop authoring tool to draw lines between the inputs and outputs of blocks. You can also add software blocks written in the Python programming language to your stack’s blueprint. Press send-to-stack in the authoring tool on your laptop and the blueprint is sent over the USB cable to be stored in the stack. Twelve hardware blocks available so far, including motors (DC, stepper, servo), serial interfaces for sensors and small displays, analog and digital IO, audio, USB keyboard, infrared remotes, Wi-Fi, and lots more in the pipeline. Stacks can discover each other and messages can flow peer-to-peer between stacks. Interstacks doesn’t use shared IO lines but serial message busses, so you can add as many blocks of the same type as you want.
Wake your world by rapidly prototyping new hardware and IoT concepts in minutes. Use to build IoT edge hardware for sensor gateways, machine to machine, and machine to cloud. Make old, dumb machines, smart and connected.
Thanks for taking a look. Much appreciated.
