A simple, end-to-end encrypted platform that enables Node.js teams to sync and manage their environment variables. Developers can modify start/dev scripts to pull and inject environment variables into local environments with 1 line of code.
Infisical is an open-source, end-to-end encrypted platform that helps software developers manage secrets and environment variables across their teams, devices, and infrastructure. In the last 30 days, we have processed over 14M secrets for our users.
Hey ProductHunt and thanks so much for hunting us, Michael!
We’re very excited to present to you Infisical - an open-source end-to-end encrypted platform to manage developer secrets across engineering teams and infrastructure! We enable teams to store their secrets in a centralized location and distribute them anywhere from local development processes to staging/production environments.
On the most basic level, you can think of it as a substitute to .env files. With our CLI, you can easily auto-sync environment variables with your teammates and always pull the latest version locally. You can read more about it here: https://infisical.com/docs/cli/o...
Next to that, we also integrate with different services like AWS, Vercel, Render, Netlify, Fly.io, etc. This creates a single source of truth for your secrets in Infisical. From Infisical, you can then automatically push your secrets to the right staging- and production-level third-party services.
Check it out via https://infisical.com and let us know what you think!
@vmatsiiako Congratulations to Infisical for creating an open-source secrets manager that helps software developers manage secrets and environment variables with ease. Great job!
Question: How does Infisical ensure the security and confidentiality of the secrets and variables managed by its platform?
Hey @oe_zheng!
Infisical, by default, encrypts all secrets end-to-end with client-side encryption; we have a security brief that goes into more detail here: https://infisical.com/docs/secur...
We encrypt all secrets in transit and at rest with many secure encryption algorithms involved (don't want to get too technical here).
