Hide Feed

Been testing Hide Feeds for the past weeks. Love the product, it makes using Twitter, Gmail and other apps way less stressful and distracting during the work day.

I've been using this for a few months and love it, especially on YouTube. Before Hide Feed, I would go there intending to watch a single video or turn on some background music, and 90% of the time I would get sucked into a rabbithole of recommendations instead. After Hide Feed, I'm able to protect my focus much better and only do what I intended to do. @dkthehuman is a fantastic product thinker - he really cares about building technology that elevates the human using it!

Hide Feed is awesome at protecting me from myself. I used to visit Youtube with the intention of watching a certain video, only to get sucked in as soon as I saw the front page and start mindlessly binging videos. With Hide Feed, instead of seeing 'cutting a watermelon with a 1000 degree knife', I am greeted with a refreshing picture of a beautiful waterfall. Hide Feed has saved me hours - cumulatively, days - of my life, and for that it's priceless.

The beauty of Hide Feed hit me around 330PM on a Tuesday. I was tired and seeking a break from my task my fingers magically hit the all too familiar keys g-m-a- enter. I didn't need to check my email, but my brain was exhausted and going on straight default decision making. Luckily, Hide Feed created the space necessary to recenter myself and set a specific intention. I didn't lose the rest of my day in pointless small tasks.
