I got a chance to review a copy on the insistence on the insistence of a friend. Even though I'm not one who reflects a lot through writing, I can really see how it helps clarifies my own thoughts and thinking. It did so in a manner that is guided but yet not structured. Definitely a very well-thought through flow and content. Like I'm seeing my own therapist.

I'm getting two copies for two very lucky girls! Now I'm hoping the Kickstarter campaign will succeed!

I'm now looking for a version like it for men!

Absolutely well-timed with the current fempowerment topics of today. I think especially of close friends who still tend to put themselves and their achievements down, as well as young ladies whom I care about and want to see reach their full potential despite many negative messages that they will face in their lives. We all deserve to be compassionate and loving towards ourselves, only then can we learn to be compassionate and loving towards others!

A back to 'pen to paper' approach in this digital, tech devices world; I would have expected an online version for gals on the go who didn't need to carry another book than her Kindle around. That said, it is a good change to be away from tech when I'm dealing with something as important as ME, MYSELF AND I.

Taking time away from all the tech that surrounds me (that also distracts me from doing this journal), it was alittle tough at the start. Not viewing my phone at the ping of anything, was tough, but a start!

This journey helped me to reflect on the 8 core virtues of what makes me, ME. I looked at how I am seeing myself, this guided me to how I can be a better version of myself. I gained more insight, self reflective questions and guides in the journal helped.

I love it that it is not like a 30 days or 1 year diary program sort of thing, and that I could do this at my own time and pace! 1 less stress point in my life, trying to get my life in check! (the irony...)

Still on my journey, and loving the whole approach of this journal thus far..

One part self-help literature, the other part journal, HER WORDS, HER GUIDE is a brilliantly simple concept borne from a clinically trained psychologist Ms Celeste Cai. Simple it may be, but when used well, it opens up your world to underlying thoughts and emotions you never thought existed. I wish I've had resources like this when I was going through rough patches of self-doubt during my teenage years. It would have made navigating the complicated world so much easier. I can't wait to recommend these to my friends.
