HBO Max is a stand-alone streaming platform that bundles all of HBO together with even more TV favorites, blockbuster movies, and new Max Originals for everyone.
Obviously the branding has been a mess and whoever is in charge really blew it. That said, HBO has the best shows and they've got great movies, bundles with a lot of other streaming services.
