I have been using it for more than a year now. I have seen people complain that the uptime for Neon is not good. However, in my case, it has always been a reliable database provider, and I have never faced any issues with it. My only complaint was about the pricing; they have switched from usage-based pricing to subscription-based pricing, which seems to be a common trend these days for generating revenue. Although it now charges monthly, it is still affordable for any development team with substantial usage. The way it works under the hood is simply awesome and truly serverless.

We were happy to use the service and it was not too hard to get started, but we started facing concurrency issues when we were running the application in production and it lead to a bad user experience because of the same.

This is such a neat use case for Istio/sidecars/service mesh. If you can get in control of networking between services, you can really do amazing stuff. Is anyone trying this in their production cluster or is it all dev/staging for now?
