A Betrayal of Trust: GitScrum's Deceptive Business Practices
GitScrum, a company that once touted itself as a reliable CRM solution provider, has shown its true colors through a series of dishonest actions. In 2018, we were enticed by their so-called "lifetime deal," which promised unlimited projects, unlimited users, and unlimited data retention. However, their recent changes to their plans starting from June 1st, 2023, have left us feeling utterly deceived and cheated.
The most outrageous aspect of this ordeal is GitScrum's decision to abruptly reduce the data retention period to a mere two months. This is a blatant violation of the original agreement we entered into with the company. How can a company that once championed unlimited data retention suddenly restrict us to such a limited timeframe? It is an affront to their customers' trust and a demonstration of their complete disregard for customer satisfaction.
To make matters worse, GitScrum's response to this unjust alteration has been nothing short of extortion. Instead of rectifying their mistake or offering a fair solution, they are now pressuring us to upgrade our plan to the Gitscrum All-in-one plan, either on a monthly or annual basis, which comes at a significantly higher cost than the original lifetime deal we paid for. This maneuver is a clear departure from the initial agreement and is designed to exploit customers who trusted in their lifetime deal offering.
GitScrum's willingness to demand more money for features that were initially promised as part of a lifetime deal is not only unethical but also deeply disappointing. It demonstrates their lack of integrity and their inability to uphold their end of the bargain. As customers, we feel cheated and betrayed by a company that has shown itself to be more interested in maximizing profits than in fostering long-term relationships with its clients.
This deceptive behavior has had severe consequences for our business operations. We relied on the supposed lifetime features, including unlimited data retention, to effectively manage and analyze our projects. With the new restrictions, our ability to make informed decisions has been severely compromised. GitScrum's actions have caused significant disruption and inconvenience, leading us to question their credibility and competence as a CRM provider.
In light of this deeply disappointing experience, I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of GitScrum. Their dishonest practices, breach of trust, and attempts to extort additional funds from their customers make them unworthy of any further consideration. It is imperative to seek out alternative CRM solutions that value transparency, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
