I like the decentralization between communities so that each community can have their own culture and process while maintaining productivity and fluidity between communities. Way better over the traditional process of first meeting, culture fit screening, trial and going straight to finding commonalities and starting a new collaboration. You got my vouch
Its a difficult and scary prospect hiring a dev, particularly so when you have no prior experience working with them. Not only did they take the time to find out exactly what you required, your timeline and budget, they take the work out of having to trawl through a database full of unqualified candidates and present you with profiles of qualified options. Once you have decided on one or two or even three they will put you in touch with the devs of your choice where you can further discuss what you need and feel confident in hiring. Lastly they offer an escrow service, so say goodbye to the worries that I listed in the beginning because you can feel safe paying upfront knowing that the funds will only be released once you have signed off and confirmed that all work has been completed.
