My dentist told me I needed to floss more and I could never bring myself to fully commit, so I started searching for something that would work. I found Flaus online and bought it. Honestly, it works pretty good for me! I can floss my whole mouth way faster than I could before. Had a dentist visit recently and she said to 'keep doing what I'm doing' - which is much better than my usual feedback.
This product is a godsend. I've never been a flosser but this makes it super easy and wayyyyy more enjoyable. I can't imagine not having Flaus.
Flaus has been an absolute game changer in my oral care routine. I was never able to get into the habit of flossing until i started using Flaus. It makes flossing a lot quicker which was always a big sticking point for me. It’s also a much cleaner process than having to put your fingers in your mouth. I use the mirror mount to keep it on my medicine cabinet and it looks very sleek. Would 100% recommend!
I got my Flaus via an IndieGoGo campaign -- I was excited about a product that is eco-friendly and help me to floss better. The floss thread didn't glide through my teeth effortlessly as advertised and the thread snagged and broke before I got through half my mouth. When I went to replace the floss head, I accidentally tugged on the stem and dislodged the tube from its outer casing and the plastic piece that is the "on/off" switch got stuck. In the end, could not get the plastic piece back in and now it cannot turn on. Emailed the Flaus customer support a few days ago with description on what happened and photos and no reply yet. Not even an email acknowledgment that they are looking into it. And their online chat does not work. I bought tons of extra floss heads during the campaign so now it's just a manual pricey floss pick. Totally disappointed at the construction of the item.
Bought this product 18 months ago and we've been told "your product is shipping real soon!" almost every month since. They've still not shipped it and continue to push this narrative because they think its what we want to hear. Its incredibly frustrating being told a lie every single time just to keep you sweet. Such an awful strategy and demonstrates total arrogance. Customer support takes around a week (and funnily enough they just repeat the above). Its genuinely quite comical st this point and feels like they're condescending you. Stay completely clear from these guys - they do not give a damn about you
I am a forever Flaus-er. As someone who has had gingivitis, gum health is very important to me. Since I started using Flaus, I have noticed that I floss more regularly. I have also seen a significant reduction in gum bleeding and tenderness.
I am in awe at the difference this has made to my gumline. I have had trouble with my gums for years and they continue to recede. At my last dentist appointment, they said it was the least recession they had seen and that my gumline was looking less irritated! I am so happy with my Flaus and will continue to use it. I will say it is quite different than regular flossing so it took me a few weeks to get the hang of it - if you are trying it for the first time give it a few weeks+ to get used to it!
Loving my Flaus so much! Received it about a week ago and I will say there was a bit of a learning curve at first, but once I got the hang of it I have found it so easy to use and I honestly look forward to using it every day. I can't believe I am saying this but I am looking forward to my next dentist appointment to see if my dentist notices an improvement!
