We’re back with a new update—Fenn 1.0.4—focused on improving convenience, clarity, and control.
Here’s what’s new:
🏁 Launch on start:
Fenn can now launch automatically when your computer starts. One less thing to think about.
👨💻 Custom keyboard shortcut:
Avoid conflicts with other apps (like the ChatGPT MacOS app) by setting your own shortcut to open the search bar.
🔃 Back up your index
As AI models evolve quickly, so will the indexing process. This update adds support for backing up your index so you can carry it forward easily.
️ 💡 New Tray Icon:
You can see the indexing status with this new tray icon when it's working in the background—so you always know what’s going on.
🐞 Bug Fixes:
We fixed a bug that caused unsupported file types to appear in search results—they’ll stay out of your way now.
