We built effico AI to close a critical gap in the student learning experience- academic tools were either too generic, too expensive, or not tailored to the realities of students in low-income regions. Unlike mainstream AI tools, effico AI was designed with local academic needs in mind, allowing students to transcribe lectures, grade their homework, summarize handouts, scan questions for answers, generate flashcards, and chat with their textbooks, all from a mobile-first interface. What made our launch unique was the combination of utility, affordability, and accessibility. Effico was one of the first to offer an AI-powered education suite with local pricing, offline-friendly features, and a pay-as-you-use credit model tailored for cash-strapped students. We’ve had a strong referral-driven growth, and testimonials from students who credited effico AI for helping them pass difficult courses.
