Hi Product Hunt 👋
I’m Arjun, founder & CEO of doola.
We built AI Co-Founder because global e-commerce entrepreneurs were telling us the same story. That starting a Shopify or Amazon store is easy, but running and managing one is overwhelming.
That’s why we built doola's AI Co-Founder. Your intelligent partner that takes care of the back-office tasks.
E-Commerce entrepreneurs don’t want ten browser tabs and five service providers. They want one trusted partner who gets the job done.
That’s exactly why we built doola's AI Co-Founder. It's your business partner that never sleeps, is available 24/7, fluent in 175+ countries’ unique challenges, and gets smarter with every interaction.
doola isn’t just a formation service. We’re building the first AI Business-in-a-Box™ for E-Commerce.
AI Co-Founder is the first step toward an intelligent, automated back-office that works for you, so you can focus on what you do best, while doola handles the rest.
Excited to hear what you think and answer any questions. 🙏

@arjunmahadevan congrats on the launch - interesting name, does it have a special meaning or significance for you?
doola
@domhnall_o_hanlon appreciate it 🙏. The name came straight from entrepreneurs. Nobody wanted another “dashboard” or “assistant”, they wanted someone who’s always on, handling the boring back-office work, so they can focus on building and selling. That’s the idea behind AI Co-Founder: not just software, but a partner who feels like they’re in the trenches with you.
I’m really curious about the practical use cases you’re seeing entrepreneurs lean on this for most. The concept of an “AI Co-Founder” is powerful, but I wonder where the immediate value shows up today. For example, do founders mainly use it for compliance, taxes, and filings (things that are complex but fairly standardized), or does the bigger win come from automating everyday admin tasks like bookkeeping, reporting, and document prep?
Another angle I’m interested in is how much it can adapt across different types of businesses. A solo Shopify seller in one country has very different back-office needs compared to an Amazon brand scaling across multiple markets. Does the AI shape itself around those different journeys, or is the main goal right now to streamline and simplify the universal pain points that all founders face?
@shahriardgm I have the questions, but it seems it's just a chatbot.

@shahriardgm Fantastic questions. The biggest goal here is getting people from formation to first sale. That's very much top of mind for someone starting. Folks on Amazon and Shopify have their hands full just figuring out how to get their funnels going, understanding the product, refining it, etc.
So our goal is how can you automate as much as possible from the process of going from formation to bank account set up to getting your initial compliance set. The second thing is we totally agree we find that a lot of folks end up going cross-platform but they typically start on Shopify or Amazon. So we have direct integrations with Shopify and Amazon, and we do allow and support cross-platform e-commerce sellers.
Hi Arjun. Good luck with this! Looks promising.
