Hey everyone! Today, we're super excited to share Docstring with the world. Every developer has been bitten at least once by old, incomplete, or downright wrong documentation - I can't even count the number of times this happened to us just while building Docstring. It's just not easy to ensure quality docs are written (and more importantly, kept up to date) since it's an afterthought for most. Having been programming for over 10 years each and running into this too many times, my co-founder and I set out to fix the problem by building Docstring. So what is Docstring? Docstring is a tool that can automatically generate documentation for Python, Ruby, and Javascript (with more languages soon to come), and then makes sure the docs stay up to date whenever the code changes so you don't have to. The docs live alongside your code just as normal, and you can edit them as you please. We also host your READMEs, docs, and code on our website, making it as easy as possible to search through and read. All you have to do is register on the site and download the integration for you preferred IDE. With just a few clicks, you'll have AI generating docs for you. And whenever you save a file or README, it will be uploaded and visible through the website. Happy documenting!
