The Center For Humane Technology is an amazing foundation and great start placing for those who want to take control of their time and attention. They provide the tools and resources that enable people to understand how technology was designed and how to best change and reshape the existing model. The one thing that needs to be changed is perhaps offer much simpler explanations instead of bloated technical jargon. If the Center for Humane Technology could break down their teaching to the point that children would understand, more people would hop onboard
Compelling story and message. Easy to implement tips to take back control. Can highly recommend people to do so
All of these tips make sense to me, some of them I had already implemented intuitively. As applications become increasingly intrusive, I expect more and more people to adopt some of these practices. I, for one, will start forwarding friends and family to the Center for Humane Technology from now on!
