I recently ordered a Cameo from this site and after three days, I got nothing. In the email when I ordered, they said 7 days but yet they only waited 3 days. Go figure. II ordered a birthday cameo video from an actor I was a big fan of. He made a birthday video for me last year so i wanted another one for this year but nothing happened and they said I can have credit to use towards another celebrity so I emailed them and I told them that I wanted my money back instead because there was no one else I wanted to cameo video from. They did refund my money without any issues but it just irritated me that they only gave me three days and that this site doesn't pressure these D -Listers to fulfill their duties. I don't understand why these "celebrities," join sites like this and don't want to make the videos that they're supposed to make and do what they're getting paid to do. I had a similar problem with the same actor back in 2015 on another site like Cameo called CelebVM and I waited 9 and 1/2 Weeks for that actor to make me a video back then and of course he did not. He even said to me in a Twitter DM on March 23rd 2016 that he was going to send me a free personal video and he never did. I guess I should be thankful he did one last year for me but I was really hoping for another one this year. I just know never to use this site ever again. After my money was refunded I deleted my account on there. This was the first time I ever had any issues on this site. I have had other Cameos done and loved them all but this time, it was different.

Booked a birthday cameo for my son (who requested it) with Robert Carradine. The term expired. Customer service said 'sometimes life happens' and that I could rebook, so I did, and another week passed with no result. Now 2 weeks past my son's birthday, I have nothing to show. Previously had successfully booked a cameo with Kevin McDonald from Kids in the Hall for my brother's birthday. Kevin was someone my brother adored (we used to, too) and the video was horrifyingly disturbing. The guy needs therapy. Absolutely terrible experience with this company.

Customer support is null and void. They pork celebrities over by not allowing them to record videos for fans due to technical errors, then they lose their payments. They don't care.

Worthless!! Sent in a request for Spencer Gibb for my son’s 16th birthday and got absolutely nothing. What a let down! They weren’t supposed to take the full amount of money out until the video was released, but took it out right away. It’s sad that these celebrities don’t pay attention to the request. If you aren’t going to be involved in Cameo, then drop out of it. Cameo does not care when they take your money. I will never use them again and wished I would have looked at the reviews first, but instead went through Spencer’s website. Just sad especially when someone was really looking forward to giving this as a gift. I guess us small people don’t matter.

Hello, I purchased 4 cameos and the requests were all either expired or cancelled. You stated that the hold would be released from my card if I do not receive the cameos, however the charges went through on my bank credit card statement. I see that credits have been issued to my cameo account. I do not want this. I read your website more and saw that we should request refunds through Apple. Contradictory to your initial claims about holds. I attempted to request refunds through Apple and my requests were declined. Please process a refund manually on your end. Why are the reviews primarily negative? My experience was positive, I requested a Cameo from my favorite Degrassi actress Miriam McDonald in November 2021, and I received it on Thanksgiving Day 2021, I think it was a great experience, and thanks to Degrassi's Emma Nelson aka Miriam McDonald for requesting my Cameo request. I would recommend it.

What should have been an epic bday greeting for a a foreign friend was a failure. Paid extra for 24 hour service. Zero response. Bday passed. Had no gift to give my friend. No communication. Very disappointed.

Purchased a video from a NHL player for my cousin that advertised a 24 hour turnaround. He technically had 7 days to complete the request. He declined on the 6th day (one day before my cousin’s birthday). This website generally only features D listers. I strongly encourage you not to get your hopes up that you will receive a video!
