is there any reason to prefer one over the other? Have you used both or either?
My needs are simple. I want to be able to add two accounts and let someone put a meeting on my calendar from a link. I think both cover the use case -- which should I use?
Cal.com Platform is the fastest and easiest way to build scheduling into your app. Free yourself from the hassles of timezones, calendar and conferencing APIs, and scheduling logic — leverage Cal.com's robust scheduling technology to build your next product.
more elegant than Calendly, more open than Savvycal, cal.com works and it feels just right.
Is it truly opensource ? in case i want to use it for a SaaS app ? Do I need to buy some license ? or I cam self-hosted white label way ?
Cal.com is proving invaluable in streamlining my workflow, especially in the areas of hiring, scheduling sales calls, and managing my daily juggling of tasks. By integrating all my calendars, it ensures I never face double bookings. Its feature to set repeating schedules is a lifesaver, letting me block out specific times for calls or interviews. Sharing my personal Cal.com link simplifies the process of arranging meetings, as it allows people to choose times that work mutually. This tool truly enhances efficiency and coordination, making it an essential part of my daily business operations.
I use this for all my scheduling outside of work! So easy to send someone a link to my availability, and the fact I can connect multiple calendars (Google + Outlook) is HUGE! The team keeps adding more helpful features and evolving the product. I've never been disappointed.
Being an open source fanatic, Cal.com just served my purpose really well as compared to other players in the market like Calendly.
