Hi everyone, thanks for checking out FriendMap.
We were inspired by apps like Find My Friends and Snapchats SnapMap—but wanted something more private, more intentional, and actually designed for close friends.
Unlike Find My, we don’t share your exact location all the time—just enough context to help your friends know if you're around or free. And unlike Snapchat, there’s no public map, no feeds, and no strangers—just your people.
Other social apps are filled with noise, brands, or features you don’t really need to spend time with your actual friends. FriendMap is design to be different: no feed, no followers, no pressure. Just a simple way to check in, see your circle, and make real life plans easier.
The solution
→ See friends on a map
→ Share photos and updates about what you're up to
→ See upcoming plans and trips
Excited to hear what you think, and if you'd want this to be on Android too to stay closer to all your friends. Don't hesitate to leave a comment, or if you prefer email support@favshq.com - we would love to hear from you.

Useful for the semi-nomadic folks like me. But it's so hard to get a critical mass of my friends on a new app.

@rrhoover Yeah, works well for nomads and even people who don't travel - and just wanna see their friends more. Yup, no one wants yet another app right now. We believe within five years people will get sick of the ads, brands, and AI on most friend-based social networks, so we'll be here waiting.

Haha, okay, I’m totally guilty + lowkey obsessed with this app’s clean vibe for stalking (er, keeping up with) my friends’ live locations and travel plans. Privacy-first is a win, too! Great work, y’all—gonna be creeping on my crew all day ahahah
Aurascope
@cathcorm Ha! Thanks for the comment. How about we call it "Vibe stalking" - since it's never exact location, just round about lol. Enjoy, and feel free to share any feedback or ideas here.
