Bullets.news Product Information and Latest Updates (2025)

@rrhoover @invinciblesaad It isn't scalable when you think about this project like about Twitter for article abstracts, and that was not my aim :) Initially, the catchphrase for Bullets.tech was "Notes for busy *curious* minds". I wanted to create a feed in which those curious about the world could read all of the published summaries. The first one is about bacteria which can help create plastics out of plants. The next one is going to concern a diet and its influence on Alzheimer disease. The subsequent one is going to feature an invention that blocks nearly every sound. There is no option to change to a category that's of interest to you. Because of that, you expand your horizons :) This may change in the future - I might introduce categories, user accounts, etc. I need some time to think about it. I will try to reach you out in a few days. To be honest, I had no idea bullets.tech will be so popular. Before publishing at Product Hunt, I had been publishing bullets for a week on my Facebook, I received an average of 0.5 like and 6 people joined my Facebook group (including my two sisters). 😂🤷‍♂️ Since starting at Product Hunt: 🎯 We were awarded the #3 Product of the Day at Product Hunt  🤖 We made it to the Hacker News home page!  ✍️ Bullets.tech was covered at https://www.oreilly.com/ and https://boingboing.net/  🔝 6700 people visited our site  📪 770 people subscribed to our weekly newsletter  🦖 560 people subscribed to our RSS feed at Feedly  👍 70 people joined our Facebook group 💻 70 people downloaded bullets-tech-cli

@rrhoover Hi! Yes, we are summarizing articles "manually". I don’t think that we need hundreds of them every week to make our service useful. Just the most popular/important from sources we trust.

@rrhoover @dawid_andrzejewski Do you think it's scalable? Why not use a community concept and ask the readers to voluntarily commit to summarize the articles on daily basis. I can commit to do 1 article a day and this would be really. You can make us choose the articles on category basis.
