3 years ago, I built a list of thousands of book recommendations from interesting people on my personal site. To this day, people continue to buy thousands of books from the site, but I had a realization recently that the site could become much more. A static list of book recommendations is cool, but an immersive community of book readers discussing, debating, and learning important ideas is even cooler. That's why I built Bookmarked. It's meant to be a place for people to come together, learn new ideas from each other, and get a better understanding of the world around them.
