I just checked out the website, super cool feature. I've personally faced this on Zoom & Google Hangouts, it's a nightmare with the echo n feedback! I think this is a super useful feature & gonna give this a thumbs up! Loved the landing page - the before & after video, and the transparency of the product roadmap - super easy to understand. Great stuff David & @between_team
This is brilliant. Congrats on the launch!
I wanted to try out the sample call too just with audio, but when choosing the type of meeting room, it's not allowing me to continue or go back to the landing page if I don't give access to the camera. Is it currently only working with video calls?
Between looks awesome, love how many headaches you're solving. Saw that you had "Conversation Mapping" on your tech roadmap. Can you elaborate a bit more on that? What does that mean?
"Helps video apps solve hybrid meetings. No echoes, no feedback, just clear, AI-powered audio" this is a game changer for hybrid work cultures. Congratulations on the launch!
This is amazing! Solving the pains of a real problem happening across many offices (and especially in-person sales orgs)
I'm curious more about why you guys, as a team, decided to focus on this problem? I'm assuming there's some sort of fun story behind that
Great project! I haven't yet integrated into an external system using the API but tried the demo and is really cool. It reminds me of when I was back in my old job having remote meetings, this was an issue that happened at least in 50% of the meetings, especially with large groups of attendees. Let me quickly run a scrappy math... you would spend 1-2 minutes figuring out who was not muted, 10 meetings a week with many +10 attendees each, that is ~10 hours a month collectively lost on "please mute" logistics. Damn, please fix lol.
Solid team, solid product, and solving a problem that's become all too familiar. We've been working in the audio space for years, and echo-related issues still come up time and time again. And not just with hybrid work calls. Many issues arise when you start to introduce additional audio channels into the application (e.g. a game or a streaming video). This API provides some additional tools to help solve a number of problems we've seen across many voice / video calling projects. So it's worth having a look and keeping it top of mind if you're building something with voice / video chat.
