You need a research and insights platform robust enough to handle your end-to-end process — without any of the complexities that slow you down. Prove what you know with the more powerful research repository and insights platform.
I have used Aurelius a couple of times and I appreciate the product overall. There are specifically 2 things I love about it:
1. It reduces the time and energy for the analysis and synthesis part of research. Usually I would use a mix of word, excel and mural/miro but with Aurelius it comes together in one platform which saves time and connects nodes of information better.
2. I could create a repository with tags and which meant info from past projects or multiple researchers doesn’t end up in a PDF or PowerPoint presentation somewhere, it can be leveraged for future products to connect various points of information and reference.
I've used Aurelius for a couple years now, and it delivers on all its promises. At my last job, we were in the situation that Zack described of having a bunch of different tools being used to create a bunch of fragmented bits of research documentation all over the place, which made synthesis really painful. After going through the whole process of evaluating all the tools out there that claimed to be great for user research, Aurelius was the only one that didn't feel like a bolt-on to some other product that was originally designed to do something else. The fact that it was designed by a UX researcher for UX researchers is clear in every feature.
I recently switched to a new company, and I lobbied hard to start using it with the new team, because I know firsthand how quickly it allowed my last team to find previously overlooked insights. And how easy it made it to present those insights to leadership as part of a clear story with clear recommendations. Again, it's clear that this tool is built by a UX researcher, because the workflow of getting from a sea of raw data to actionable, supported recommendations feels so logical. I really can't recommend it highly enough.
Capture, analyze and share customer research in one place
Aurelius lets you capture, analyze, search and share all your customer research in one place. Take notes, transcribe recordings, analyze data, create insights and turn them into action. Search and share all your research in one place.
👋 Hey there! I’m Zack, co-founder at Aurelius
I’ve been working as a UX designer/UX researcher/Product strategist for more than 15 years…doing a LOT of customer research both in-house and for agencies serving thousands of clients.
The problem
People who do customer research are using dozens of separate tools to get their jobs done. Many of these are awesome general tools, but they’re not built specifically for researchers, which means we’re tinkering and customizing them to fit our needs as best as we can.
Folks often use separate tools to take notes, transcribe interviews and research sessions, make sense of data, capture key findings, build a report and then a place to store everything. That’s six or more separate tools just to do customer research effectively!
The solution
People doing research shouldn’t have to settle for a bunch of separate, general tools not built specifically for them.
With Aurelius you can:
📝 Take and tag research notes and data
🧐 Make sense of data faster with AI assisted analysis
🗣 Transcribe audio/video files with near-human accuracy
🎬 Create clips and highlight reels from those recordings
💡 Capture key insights and findings with supporting notes, data, clips and more
🚀 Link research findings to action using recommendations
🔌 Integrate your research with other tools using Zapier, Zoom or Jira integrations
📊 Have a research report created for you automatically with every project
🔍 Search all your customer research in one place
🔗 Easily share what you learned with anyone
Not only can you do all this in one place, with Aurelius, but we also offer unlimited users for every plan - so you don’t have to worry about getting more people contributing to customer research and benefiting from key findings.
Looking forward to hearing what you think!
@dmitry_samokhodkin1 thanks Dmitry!
We have a few key differences depending on which competitor you mean, but overall we're quite unique in offering things like:
- automatic keyword analysis
- recommendations
- unlimited users, projects, data and transcriptions <-- this is a huge one
I'm been using Aurelius for a minute to synthesize discovery findings. I use it for user research and business discovery (documentation review, stakeholder interviews, analytics, etc.) It's really a dream that you can build your reports right in the product. I've worked with Zack (he might have even been my boss once ... but we don't talk about that), which is why I have confidence in the thought put into every feature. And Joseph is one of those developers that UX and Content Design folks love to collaborate with because they get user experience. Looking forward to what comes next!
