Hey everyone! I just made an app that allows users to practice speaking with both AI and real people. This idea has been in the works for quite some time, and I have recently developed an app that combines AI and RTC technology. It is still in its early stages. The app currently offers two basic features: 1. AI practice While the AI interaction is currently turn-based and doesn’t completely replicate natural conversation, it significantly reduces the entry barrier, allowing users to practice anytime, anywhere. 2. Real people pairing The ultimate goal of language learning is to communicate with real people. Therefore, the app also provides an option to pair users with real individuals for practice sessions. I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a few moments to try out the app and share your thoughts. Were there any features that stood out to you? 💡 Bright idea

Congrats on the launch. The app is quite new to the market, but the idea of applying AI for language-practicing has huge potential. Some feedback or suggestions that I would love to share are: - Are providing both AI and Humans for practicing too ambitious? Especially when you're just starting out. - The UI, to me is not really attractive, it needs much more effort to fine-tune, the best approach I can think about is a cute-gamified style like Duolingo + I believe you have researched the market, but if not, there are 2 companies applying GPT4 for practicing language are Dolingoo's Max version and Elsa GPT Tutor. Of course, they are not perfect, and there are a lot of ways to improve, but it is worth checking what other players are doing Suggestions: + Craft the prompt to make AI conversation to be open, and most realistic as possible (but don't make it too formal) + Find the delightful moments for your users, think about what enlightens your users most when learning the language. For education app, a good delightful moment is when they get corrected by AI about the mistake they have made and lived with for many years, an aha moment. @vunq Thank you for your suggestions; they are very practical. For both AI and Humans, initially, my idea was to create a pairing exercise for learners, but the integration of AI can lower the barriers for oral practice. The ultimate goal of language learning is communication with people, and I hope that users can eventually experience the feeling of conversing with real individuals after practicing with AI within the app.
