I'm excited to share this early-stage app aimed at helping blind and visually impaired people navigate their surroundings using AI. While it's still a work in progress, I'm eager to gather feedback from users and improve it based on real-world experiences.
By sharing this now, I hope to reach those who can benefit most from it. Please feel free to test the app yourself, and if you know anyone with vision impairments, kindly share it with them so they can try it and provide feedback. The goal is to make this app truly helpful for them.
The app is currently free to use, but I've implemented a daily usage cap to manage costs while I explore sustainable options (e.g., allowing users to add their own API keys). Your feedback or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated—feel free to share them in the comments.
You can access the app template on Lazy AI here: https://getlazy.ai/templates/ai-.... It's open for customization if you'd like to tweak it (disclaimer: I work at Lazy AI, but this project is Pro Bono).
