The team rebuilt AdCat from the ground-up. AdCat is a design tool for marketers to create ad images in seconds (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). No more cheat sheets, no Photoshop, and no technical skills required.
They're also offering the first 100 users to signup through Product Hunt 3 free months of AdCat Pro.
@erictwillis thanks for the hunt Eric! If you signed up via PH, please email team@adcat.io letting us know so that we can apply the promo to your account!
When I was a social media manager I used Pablo by Buffer for the ads we ran - worked great and totally free :)
What does AdCat have that I couldn't get on Pablo?
@bentossell It really seems to be about sizing the ads correctly.
Which doesn't "ad" a lot of benefit for me. Maybe there's a value proposition I'm missing.
Maybe it's the fact that you can see what the same ad looks like across multiple platforms... but I imagine you'd create each ad individually anyway.
I'm confused.
@bentossell hey Ben, thanks for the question -- @ramkumarhq had similar thoughts!
There are a lot of great tools for social media image posts and cloud graphics editors, but none of them focused on pushing out paid social media ad images as fast as we wanted -- something where you didn't have to think about anything except for the single ad image. You would upload it then visually see how it looked on all the platforms you were running ads on. You would then make any edits necessary, then get your ad image in seconds.
We have a concentrated focus on paid ads and getting you up and running with your ads fast. Main features that differentiate us:
- one-click export to Facebook Ads account for faster ad workflow
- ad previews (that can be downloaded and shared) so that you can see how your image looks exactly like before jumping into the ad platform's editor.
We made AdCat to fulfill a need we had :)
@kevinyun - I'm sure you have a lot of competitors in this field with much more functionalities, stock photos database, and better pricing. i.e. Pablo, canva, stencil, etc.
I'm a stencil user, it has more than 750K stock images and 200K icons in its database, they have 34+ custom image sizes (ADS, Web header, etc) to choose and a good user interface. Your elite package (which is limited) is quoted at $90/month, while stencil's unlimited package is priced at $18/month (that is truly unlimited).
Pablo has limited functions compared to stencil but it is FREE. It still has 600K+ stock photos in its database.
Now, You can tell us, what makes Adcat special?
@ramkumarhq great questions! I'm a Stencil user myself and I think their product is really awesome, and also a big fan of the Buffer guys.
