Congrats on the launch!!
So you type how you're feeling, feed it to your wutmon then he poops it out 2 weeks later. Some questions, Exactly what do you flush down and how do you actually do that? And what is the point of it, like why don't wutmon flush it away himself? How will you grow the app? I upvoted for the cute monster design.
@linden_thomas Without the app you would write your feelings on a paper and put it in a box. Later you would open the box and read each message. You can then reflect on what you wrote without the emotions from that day. Wutmon is just a digital wrapper around this concept and the pooping is the “box opening” part. I think it is a good fit with the eating part. In the app it is just a poop animation and a “flush” button.
I want the app to be simple. Of course you could add fancy features like poop statistics or some diary aspects (buttons for feelings, …), but I like to keep it the way it is.
I have other Wutmons in progress. If there is a small user base, I would finish these and release them in an update. But I’m definitely not a designer, so if no one wants these I’m not eager to do this.
For me the process was important. Have a side project and finish it.
Hey everyone,
my girlfriend introduced me of the concept to write down all your anger on paper and put it in a box. A few weeks later you open the box and feel stupid about all the small stuff you were worried about.
I always wanted to complete the process of releasing an app. So I took this concept and build Wutmon (Wut means rage, anger in German). I'm not a graphic designer but I hope they are cute enough.
The base idea is that you feed your Wutmon with all you have to say at a fixed time of day (built a habit). After 14 days they have to do a number two and you need to flush it down.
I'm looking forward to your feedback.
