I've been looking for something other than Pocket (I just haven't been coming back to it). I'm excited to try Collect as a substitute and I love the ability to share boards 😺
@samuelbeek Pocket definitely has an emphasis on easily saving and consuming the saved info (and has a lot of interesting features), but for me the biggest problem is not coming back to the saved stuff afterwards and somehow not liking the visual aspect of the app. What I like about Collect currently is the emphasis is put on easy saving, making collections and sharing them. The biggest plus for me is the sleek, not-busy visual style. What I've been missing thought in the past week is a browser add-on for desktop saving, so that would be a huge plus if it's something you'd consider doing in the future. Beside Pocket, Collect is (at least for me), in some aspects a personal Pinterest and the thing I like here is that it's easier to save/pin original/local stuff. Hope I gave you a good sense of my experience-since a lot of this stuff is based on a subjective feel, I tried my best to put it into words for you!
@samuelbeek adding on to Kristina's point, I couldn't save images in Pocket. Only articles/links is very limiting, especially because I take a lot is screenshots. My current solution is to send them to a WhatsApp group that only has me as a member.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for hunting @divjpatel. I'm the PM of the product. We're very excited the name change to "Collect" and introducing our collaboration feature (We wrote a little post about it here on medium https://medium.com/wetransfer/on...).
Collect allows you to save the things that you create and inspire you on your phone. In research we found that a lof people create beautiful things with their phones, but they struggle with just holding onto content. They had tons of screenshots, weird notes filled with links, and they even texted themselves as a way to save interesting stuff. All their things were scattered around places, making hard to save and share. That's why we created a space where you can add content (links, articles, photos, you name it) from all your apps and collaborate on it.
I would love to hear your feedback and questions about the app 😺.
@divjpatel@samuelbeek I really like the concept of organising ideas and bringing people together with ideas. Even my app is based on connecting ideas 💡
We are all different. If only we could collaborate and cooperate to make better solutions, many of the modern day problems would’ve sorted. Good job 👏
I wish this was available through the browser. It looks like a solid product that would solve by problem of having a place to store inspiration, but I'm not going to use it when it's only available on my smartphone.

In short, xenon gas. A few weeks before traveling to Nepal, Furtenbach’s clients will travel to a hospital in Germany where they will don a diving bell-like mask and inhale xenon gas. Studies have suggested that the odorless gas can protect vital organs from altitude sickness, while boosting the body’s production of erythropoietin, or EPO, the hormone that stimulates the production of red blood cells. When used alongside traditional at-home acclimatization methods, xenon gas can make the human body capable of withstanding Everest’s extreme altitudes, according to
