Hello 👋
We're a team of engineers who solve problems that we encountered at work.
One of such problems was sharing links with teammates. Different teams established different approaches to this.
Sometimes links were kept in Notion, Confluence or Jira. Sometimes people just sent links around in Slack.
None of these tools were productive when it comes to managing & sharing a database of links.
It's never easy to find the link that you need, especially if you work in a company that uses dozens of different SaaS products. And for a newcomer the experience is much worse.
This is one of the problems we solve in Websktop - Collaborative Bookmark Manager.
There are 3 primary usages of Websktop.
1. Bookmark manager
Import bookmarks from your browser. Create unlimited bookmarks, folders & websktops.
Familiar OS-like user interface. Powerful context menu and keyboard shortcuts. Instant search.
Organize, drag & drop, cut, copy, paste, set custom backgrounds, icons & more.
2. Collaboration
Build a database of links with your team, family or friends.
Collaborate with different users in real-time.
Decide who can edit, view or manage your Websktops.
Make your Websktop public so that anyone can see it, even without an account.
3. Speed Dial
You can use your Websktop as the "new tab page" in your browser.
This way you'll be able to build & customize your own speed dial page.
Install our free Google Chrome extension to set Websktop as your new tab page:

We have a Free Plan and a free 30-day Trial of the Professional Plan available.
There is a single-click live demo on our landing page: https://websktop.com/
Be sure to check out the screencasts there too!
Enjoy!

@homka_brown We have some screencasts on our landing page that should help you get started.
You can also click the "?" icon in top right corner of your Webstkop to launch the tour.
But we do not currently have a video tutorial, sorry!
It's definitely something that we want to have and will provide in the future.
Thank you for the suggestion!
