Hey guys, humbled to be featured. We're here re-defining user feedback. You may have seen Forsee on reddit this morning (http://www.reddit.com/r/web_desi...), that's how not to do user feedback... We leave it up to the user to give feedback – we believe in the power of the feedback button! Feedback isn't all we do, we are also big on surveys. With a combination of exit, slide out, and full page surveys, we let you target website visitors to grab an NPS, or any other metric. Our company story has been a little maddening. We turned up 5 years or so ago, with one of the first heatmapping softwares on the market (https://usabilla.com/products#us...). As loved as it was, we struggled to monetize it and had to change track. The company scaled down and started again... and now we have user feedback - our baby for the past 2.5 years! My biggest worry is whether the feedback is biased since it requires opting in to give some (compared to getting feedback from those who bounce in 10 secs)

@angeladopter Not so much biased, as feedback is always feedback. You'll be surprised at how many people are happy at being able to vent, and then continuing on with their shopping. It is difficult thing to account for however as we largely rely on the user coming to the button. This is the point at which you have to balance the quality of the experience. Darker UX patterns can come into play here – surveys and feedback prompts which trigger on mouse-outs or simply time on the web page. It's never a catch all, but provides enough info to find problem areas.
