Triplex is your visual workspace for building React / Three Fiber components. Focus on building your components and Triplex will manage everything else.
Triplex is now in public alpha and we'd love you to download it and give it a whirl. Triplex works with all bundlers and meta frameworks, as well as using your installed versions of Three.js, React, and React Three Fiber.
Triplex can be installed as a standalone app for macOS and Windows, or through NPM, find the download link here: http://triplex.dev/download
We're focused next on fixing bugs, improving the core editor CRUD flow, and quality of life improvements. If you find bugs or anything that's causing you friction please raise an issue here: https://github.com/try-triplex/t....

Wow I really like this a lot! I'm going to try to remake this project of mine, that I made by hand in three.js ages ago: https://david-ma.net/gallery/
I couldn't even find a good way to even structure my project and re-use my code. It was such a steep learning curve. I didn't know React Three Fiber existed. Maybe it didn't exist yet lol.
Looks like Triplex will help me fill out the environment much faster. And also in a way that isn't boring if I do in front of artists/gallery people.
Thanks for making it @douges !!!
My TODOs for my project:
- Make the room shaped like the gallery space
- Add notes next to each artwork
- Dress up gallery space with objects
- Make it re-usable so the gallery owner can have an archive of all the other exhibitions they put on
Oh and of course, upgrade the vapourwave version 😎 https://david-ma.net/gallery/wave/
This is an ambitious project. And already at the current stage of development it provides functionality that no other solution provides.
Triplex can work with a scene defined in the code.
