Hello Product Hunt 👋!
Greetings from Plant-for-the-Planet. I'm sure many of you have planted trees yourself, or donated trees to restoration groups before. 🌳🌳🌲🌲
Few years ago we build a platform for planting forests. After raising over 43 Million trees through donations in the last years. 14M in the first 200 days of 2021 alone📈📈📈, we are excited to share our next invention, the TreeMapper App.
TreeMapper is built to simplify forest monitoring so that we can provide on the ground data to tree donors all over the world. It's like a virtual delivery notification of your tree donation.
TreeMapper is OpenSource, free of cost, uses GEOJSON specs and works offline to support some of the world's remote areas. You can already see some of the early TreeMapper measurements visible on pp.eco/yucatan.

TreeMapper data is available for anyone to add extra monitoring features, either through suggestions in the Plant-for-the-Planet platform, or in external applications.
With our APIs, you can soon go from creating Donations to visualizing where your forest is.
You can plant your forest today at https://pp.eco
Note: Plant-for-the-Planet is a children and you led organization, and takes no commissions, and charges no extra fees except for Stripe/PayPal's payment processing for donations made on the Plant-for-the-Planet platform.
