In our migration to a completely distributed team at Team.Video, none of the existing video call providers gave us what we needed. Collaborative timed agendas, notes, a way to break the ice (collaborative word games), non-verbal feedback, multiple screen shares, best in class audio and video - so we built it. Now we want to share it.
We would love to hear from you, any and all feedback is most welcome.
Yes! The game while you wait is a small thing, but it has actually made a huge difference in the first few minutes of our meetings. Instead of being mad at the person who's late, or awkwardly staring at each other -- with the game we get to do a little bit of problem solving before diving into the hard stuff.
@stefanhayden Our audio and video streams are point to point encrypted, which lets us do cool things like speaker statistics, active speaker indication, etc. We're watching the insertable streams stuff closely, and are excited about the progress being made there for end to end encryption with media routers.
Here's our wall of privacy text: https://team.video/privacy, and security page as well: https://team.video/pages/security
We're not here to be shady, and want to be as transparent with our users as possible. Privacy and security are paramount, to us and our users.
Super simple UI and I love being able to respond with emoji reactions in a video call rather than having to do the whole wait to speak / unmute / talk over others / mute dance. Having an agenda right in the call is really helpful, but I wish I could attach files and links to agenda items. Also great to just have a bunch of named "rooms" we can all jump into for a quick call rather than fumbling with random zoom links that expire.
