@mogabr Thank you!
Nice to meet the Product Hunt community! I’ve been a lurker here for years and often found inspiration. I’m co-founder of SystemOne and I’d love to share a bit of our (long) journey.
The idea for SystemOne sprouted about two decades ago when Bartho and I were dabbling in music and hanging out with artists and booking agencies.
Back then, we saw how agencies pencilled dates onto huge desk calendars and managed their contacts in Excel sheets.
A few early agencies were willing to pay for tools we started building in the early 2000s using Active Server Pages (ASP). Super old-school: all coding in Notepad, uploading untested scripts straight to production. 100% HTML. GitHub? Jira? Figma? Unit tests? Azure? CI/CD? None of that existed for us yet. Compared to today’s stack, it really was the Wild West.
As the years went by, our customer base grew. For every sales pitch we lost, we added a new user story to the wishlist—slowly shaping SystemOne into a feature-rich application. Golden rule: no spaghetti code. Always think twice before adding or extending features, unless it’s truly the right move for the roadmap.
Once we gained traction, we rebuilt everything on ASP.NET MVC, with jQuery making the front-end more interactive.
Today, we’re on our third full rebuild (crazy, I know), now running on .NET Core + React. It’s amazing to see how much the development ecosystem has evolved in two decades. 💕
We take pride in never needing external investment. Subscription income always went straight back into the business, which allowed us to grow a fantastic team with who we took the company to the next level.
For us, this launch signals a new milestone for SystemOne: new branding, new ideas, and a fresh perspective on how a modern application and company should work.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk 🚀
@martijn_k Love this story!! And you guys have an incredible team.

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 SystemOne looks like such a solid solution, I can see how streamlining all the booking, logistics, and finances into one platform would be a huge relief for agencies. Wishing you a great launch day and lots of well-deserved success 🚀💙
