Hey π, Nicolas here - first time launcher!
After trying to learn new skills online, I found myself facing the same problem again and again. I became overwhelmed by the amount of content out there and the lack of a structured course. My only options were to spend hours browsing for the right website or to pay for an expensive course.
That led me to create studymap.ai β an AI tool that can generate a complete course about any topic, tailored to your learning preferences and background knowledge. With a few clicks, you will have structured chapters to guide your studies.
π₯ You can even turn any YouTube or website into a course!
π Structured chapters and lessons
π Project ideas
π Links to external resources
π Progress tracking
Whether you want to learn web development, personal finance, cooking, or anything else, check out studymap.ai!
P.S - There are some free courses on our website that you're welcome to try out

EDIT: Thank you to everyone for the support! Just letting people know that studymap.ai has been acquired, so this is no longer my website.

Hey Nicolas, congrats on launching studymap.ai! An AI-powered tool that structures learning materials sounds like a valuable resource for online learners. Here are some questions and how I can help:
- Can studymap.ai handle highly specialized topics or niche learning areas, or is it primarily focused on broader subjects?
- How does studymap.ai ensure the accuracy and quality of the information it gathers from websites and videos to generate course materials?
As a developer, I'm interested in the technical aspects behind the AI content generation and the course structuring process. If those align with my skills (machine learning), I might be able to contribute to future development.
Overall, studymap.ai seems like a promising tool for making online learning more efficient and personalized. I'd love to learn more about how it handles complex topics and the measures in place to ensure quality information. I'd be happy to help with development if my skills are a good fit!
@max_savonin1 Hey Max, thank you for the comment! The course's content is (mostly) limited to the context of OpenAI's most current knowledge. I did a few things to enable the tool to handle more specific subjects like you mentioned:
- Users can specify exactly what their skill level is and other relevant information (ex. If they're learning investment, they can specify their country of residence to ensure the course is relevant to them)
- By providing "input resources", which are either YouTube videos or other websites, the user can be more specific about what they want to learn.
- In each lesson there are links to relevant external sources on the internet, to make sure that the learner is also exposed to content that's not AI-generated.
- The courses provide project ideas, along with instructions on how they should start.
All of these features exist to allow users to learn both broad and specific subjects.
In regards to ensuring the quality: So far I haven't managed to implement such a tool, and I'm mostly relying on the fact that courses also encourage the exploring of external resources. Although you definitely can learn solely from the AI-generated lessons, studymap.ai is also a great tool to guide you through your learning, providing both learning material and pointing towards resources from which to learn more.
@nicolas_fuchs10 Hey Nicolas, this looks super useful and exactly what I need. Quick question tho - does studymap.ai require any prior knowledge or experience in the subject you're learning? I'm worried I might struggle if I donβt have a background in it. Thanks!
@michaelgreen Hey, thanks for the comment! No it doesn't require any background knowledge. One of the parameters for creating the course is your current skill-level, so you can specify if you're a complete beginner, advanced, etc. If you have any questions feel free to ask me :)
Hey Nicolas,
The ability to turn YouTube videos and articles into courses is a standout feature.
How does the AI ensure the quality and accuracy of the generated courses?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Hey, thanks for the feedback! Currently the generated course doesn't go over a "quality check". I've been thinking about how to implement this exact feature, but haven't found a solution yet.
