Hey fellow builders!
I m a solopreneur currently launching my first SaaS (Aurexa), and I ll be building multiple small apps/tools in the future all revenue-generating.
Right now I m setting up Stripe for payments and I m wondering:
How do YOU structure your Stripe account(s)?
I have been using Stripe for a few months now and I must say that I am very impressed by this company. It's not just a payment processor, but a whole platform for the internet economy. It offers a wide range of products and services that cater to different needs and scenarios of online businesses. Whether you want to accept payments, create and manage cards, build a marketplace, or launch a subscription service, Stripe has you covered. Stripe is very easy to use and integrate with your website or app.
Excellent gateway for our billing engine, especially when it comes to currencies and coverage. Great for our customers that invoice via Fiskl, as we can reconcile seamlessly from invoicing, payments, banking to accounting with our API automation and AI engine.
I've been using them since their inception. Their protection against chargeback is horrible. They pretend they are middleman and they can't do anything and let it happen over and over again. If we lose case they charge £15 per case. Even if a customer has made purchase of £0.01 we pay them £15 if we lose chargeback case. Sometimes back they introduced a service which allows us to have less chances of getting ripped off by fucking customers. We had to pay hefty fee for this service. Since paying them this ransom cases chargeback cases have dropped and so does earning which has dropped to almost nothing. Even after paying this ransom money we still get chargeback or refund cases dumped on us. Oh, forgot that we have to fucking reply to each and every case separately even if it's the same customer and purchased same services. Previously before paying the ransom fee when I complained to them for the chargeback cases they gave excuse that they are a middleman so they can't do anything and suggest to pay ransom. What is your fucking excuse now even after paying this ransom fee? Still Middleman or some other lame excuse? WTF! Stripe you suck, I wish you get fucked in same way.
