Hi Producthunt! 👋 This is a re-launch of the very popular Stoic Life Calendar. It's a template enjoyed by 100s of Stoic practitioners across the globe and is aimed bringing more grace into your life. About the calendar... I'm always trying to think out of the box when it comes to creating something in Notion. For a long time, I searched for ways to turn my old Stoic Calendar (paper version) digital, preferably in Notion. After long hours of researching, I finally nailed it. I'm proud to introduce: Memento Mori - A Stoic Life Calendar built in Notion. ☠ This calendar is based on the two thousand year old Stoic principle of Memento Mori; remembering death. It's simple: each box represents a week, each line a year, going from 0-90 years old. You tick off one week after another as long as you live. In return, you'll get a weekly visual reminder of how much time you've actually spent already, and how little is actually left. It might sound a little cynical at first, but if you think about it, reflecting on mortality actually has benefits. Marcus Aurelius put it very beautifully: "You could leave life right now. Let that determine what you do and say and think." —Marcus Aurelius For me personally, I benefit from the weekly check ins in my daily life, because it reminds me to be a better man and to not waste what time I have left, not being one.
