About a year ago, we spoke with 200+ monetization experts and engineering leads about what makes pricing projects in SaaS so hard, every time. A lot has happened since then. We’ve built the first pricing & packaging API that helps SaaS teams launch new pricing in minutes and build consistent experiences for their buyers. Today, we’re managing over 100K subscriptions and handle more than 100M requests worldwide every month! And now, we want to show you, the ProductHunt community, what we’ve built, and why. What is Stigg? We’re the first pricing & packaging API built for SaaS. We make it easy for you to build, maintain, and change your pricing plans and buyer experience. Your company can also monitor feature usage, run experience and handle individual customer requests, like extending a trial, without engineering support. In the last year, we’ve been working closely with the world’s monetization experts and our hand-picked design partners to build what we share with you today. Some of Stigg’s capabilities include: 🛡️Battle-tested API & SDKs: build any common pricing model - per unit, usage-based, or flat fee - and any pricing plan - free, paid, or custom - in minutes. Stigg takes care of feature gating and usage metering for you. 🎁Snap-in widgets: build faster with our best-in-class pricing tables, in-app paywalls, and self-service customer portals. Easily style them in your branding and add them to any framework, Javascript, Vue, …, we support them all! And the best, any change you’re going to make in Stigg, is automatically updated in our widgets, too! 💰Native billing integration: If you’ve ever connected Stripe, you know how much time this can take. And maintaining it swallows even more. Stigg’s native billing integration connects your billing in a click, lets you import subscriptions into Stigg, and from that moment on, you’ll never have to deal with billing again. Ever! 🦾Webhook automation: There’s so much to pricing & packaging. CRM tools that send a message to your customer when their trial ends, internal notifications to your Slack if something requires your attention, a message to your sales rep if a customer is ready to upgrade, … With Stigg, you can trigger any automation through our webhooks. ✅ Built for speed, scale, & compliance: Stigg provides a critical service for developers, product, and growth teams. We know it’s our responsibility to make sure your customers get the best experience at all times, and we continuously aim to meet and exceed industry standards as well as your expectations for the highest security controls, speed, and scalability. So, instead of building hacks on top of Stripe that will sooner or later block you in growing you get a powerful pricing & packaging platform out of the box that is ready to scale with you, no matter what you want to support in future. We have a generous free tier. Try it out for yourself: https://www.stigg.io. We’ll be around all day to answer your questions. Looking forward to hearing your feedback! 💙 Dor, Anton, and the Stigg team.

Hi ProductHunt community 👋 I’m really excited to launch Stigg on ProductHunt today. In every SaaS company I used to work for in the past, it has always been incredibly painful to build & maintain pricing plans. The pricing structure and logic always end up being coupled with the core application code and the billing platform. The product catalog is typically managed in spreadsheets, by the product & monetization teams, while all the possible package types, including the legacy ones, are typically hardcoded across different git repositories. 🤯 Together with our founding team, we’ve made it our mission to solve this problem and make it much easier for developers everywhere to build and maintain pricing plans. We’d love to hear your feedback! 💙

Sooo many usage-based pricing infra have emerged recently. Very interesting.

@rrhoover Hey Ryan - thanks for checking us out! while usage-based pricing is emerging as the new king for SaaS pricing (supposedly at the expanse of the SaaS standard subscription model), our team likes to thing about Stigg as a headless pricing & packaging platform for SaaS, built for flexibility and scale, where usage-based is one buying experience of many options vendors should be able to offer for their customers. Gone are the days billing providers lock and limit SaaS businesses from going to market how they would want. From the very first moment @antonzag and I hit the road, we were obsessed with building a solution robust and flexible enough to allow that so much needed agility on the product and business front. When we started, since we just came out of New Relic major pricing overhaul towards usage-based, we questioned a lot why do we insist on anything but usage-based billing. We think there's a bigger story to tell, and we're hoping to be the one writing it!

Thanks for dropping by, @rrhoover !! 💙 We give engineering teams a lot of capabilities out of the box to support usage-based pricing, like usage metering, feature gating, in-app analytics, flexible upgrade & downgrade flows, a snap-in customer portal, etc. Pricing & packaging - or an outstanding buyer experience, as we believe - can be a substantial competitive advantage for a SaaS company. Customer needs change, products grow, and businesses need to be able to quickly react to that with the way they go to market. That's why Stigg supports all major pricing models - per unit, usage-based & flat fee. So far, most companies have built their pricing infra in-house. We're really excited that a new category is shaping that allows SaaS to finally be more nimble in their buyer experience!! 😺
