Hey Everyone, My name is Till and I am the co-founder of Space. As a two man team we have been working on Space for two years now. Since the app is getting really good, we are now ready to actively promote it. Our goal is to build a simple Anki, as Anki is an exceptional program that I have used many times. But many students are put off by the complexity and old design of Anki and so they don't experience the benefits of Spaced Repetition at all. Particularly unfortunate is the idea of the Sharing Mode in Anki, which is available as an add-on (https://github.com/Stvad/CrowdAnki). Precisely because it was exactly the thing I was looking for. I worked a bit on CrowdAnki so that I could work on flashcards with my fellow students. But I had to abandon the project, because some of my fellow students didn't know Git and even if they did know Git the add-on is still difficult to set up. However, this is how the idea of a flashcard app where you can easily work together came to be. Therefore we released a new sharing mode. With this you can collaborate on flashcards with friends or invite them as viewers to your decks. But most of all, Space is supposed to offer learners an easy way to get started with flashcards. Furthermore, the app is completely free and without ads. In our opinion, flashcards are learned mostly on smartphones. That's why we have invested most of our time in app development. Therefore Space works on iOS and Android. While the web app is still rudimentary, a complete redesign of the web app is quickly rising in our to-do list. Even though we are already quite happy with the app, it is always possible to improve one' s work. So we are working on Space every day to provide a better learning experience. Although there is already a long list of features we want to add, it's also important to get new inspiration. What spaced repetition algorithm are you using? For my language learning app, I've implemented the Super Memo V2 with many customizations, as the original doesn't explain any edge cases. I hope to at some point be able to implement Duolingos Half-life regression. EDIT: just installed looks great!

@timar We use a slightly modified SM2 algorithm, but have plans to tweak the algorithm further and/or replace it with a better algorithm. I didn't find your app under your profile, what is the name of it?

@space_app Still working on it but it will be predefined content not flashcards. Wish space had some example set of flashcards showcasing the possibilites, how it looks and feels to motivate people to actually put the effort in creating their own. You mentioned a marketplace sharing ability? That would work too.
