@twanlass really exciting idea - a few questions
1) Which vertical is it most difficult to get on the platform (authors? podcasters?)
2) seems somewhat similar to tip joy which failed a few years ago - why is this different?

3) how did you arrive at $9 a month and your general pricing model?
@eriktorenberg - great questions.
1) Right now that's probably musicians & authors. They have really specific needs we're not serving well, yet. We do have a ton of creatives using Simple Goods though like web designers, icon creators, web theme makers, and even big names selling JS libs like David DeSandro of Twitter & Isotop / Packery fame.
2) Not quite like Tip Joy. Think of it as ecommerce without the shopping cart.
3) Our pricing is designed to make it easy to start selling and grow with you as your sales volume grows. High volume sellers want lower transaction fees and low volume sellers don't want to pay monthly fees ;-). We took that knowledge and priced along two value adds - # of products you can sell and transaction fees you pay / sale.
Thanks for jumping in!
Think Gumroad without all the weight of the features you don't use. Perfect for selling Ebooks, videos, icons, podcasts, PSD's, MP3's etc...
Clean product that works well! Boom.
