Managing the budget and checking the impact of marketing on MRR is a big part of SaaS Marketer's job. This template is a handy tool to have.
Been using the model for our marketing planning this year and it has made a huge difference in seeing the connection between what we plan to do for our marketing motions and how it is affecting our overall goals.
If not this, I still highly suggest finding a great template that helps you visually track your marketing teams activities and helps rationalise them as part of the overarching business goals.
Otherwise it is easy to end up with a marketing "department" that can not and does not fulfill it's purpose and is deemed to do perhaps nice sounding yet rather useless activities.
Btw we used a much more complex sheet before, which was super nice, but a lot of parts were unused by us and in general it was much harder to see the overall picture.

I usually try to use as less excel or google sheets as possible but this really blew my mind. The level of detail and the results that come out of it are super useful. This is a great way to either impress your boss or start your own SaaS startup. I really felt like I should create a new company for myself after filling up the template. I only get that feeling very few times in a year. This really streamlined the financial aspects where I might have spent hours and hours but still not come to a good financial or marketing conclusion.
Whether you are going for funding or use this internally, it's a great way to be on track.
