Want to learn something but don't know where to start? Just give Rome the topic, and it will create a podcast for you! Our knowledge agent crawls the web to find relevant sources, identifies the relevant subtopics, and finally crafts & narrates the episode.
Hey everyone, Daryl here!
We're incredibly excited to be launching our baby, Rome. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for anyone to learn anything, simply by entering a topic you're interested in. Whether it be to gain a deeper understanding of complex topics like neural networks or learn random things like Elon Musk's childhood, we hope Rome can be your valuable AI podcast companion.
Rome's knowledge agent essentially takes in the prompt, does research on the web to determine the relevant sources, understands the prompts and defines key subtopics, then crafts and narrates the podcast. The podcasts themselves will be around 15-20 minutes long.
Here are a few things I've personally enjoyed using Rome for:
1) Explain different topics on my morning run/while driving to work (e.g. neuroplasticity, blockchain, free will, neural networks)
2) Teach me history lessons about the Cuban revolution, Confucianism, and the South China Sea
3) Give me a deeper breakdown of the key policy differences for the upcoming presidential election
4) Learning random things like Elon Musk's childhood, psychedelics in healthcare, and the Zodiac Killer
I hope people will love Rome as much as we do. Feel free to try it out and let us know what your experience is like!
Daryl, this sounds amazing! Love how you guys are making learning so accessible with Rome. I mean, who wouldn’t want to dive into topics like neuroplasticity while on a run? Super convenient! Can't wait to try it out and see what it offers. Keep up the awesome work, @budiman! The world needs more tools like this!
