The problem was that it’s extremely hard for non-technicals to see their data and even harder to do something about it. We felt that the users didn’t truly own their data and could do little about it. So many headaches in understanding Facebook privacy settings or to ask access to our data to companies. I found this to be a terrible app. Firstly I didn’t get paid out and I tried contacting Rita support but I didn’t get a response for a very long time. They did not answer my messages about the problem of non payment to my Stripe account. I also could not get any money from the surveys and even when I spent 20 minutes on a survey, no money was paid to my account. I have wasted so much time and effort but it’s really not worth it. I deleted my account but Rita haven’t deleted my Stripe account and only Rita Platform can do that. I don’t recommend this app to anybody!

Would be great if it paid, but it doesn't. I'd requested my first payout several times. How much are THEY earning from our data? I stopped using it, obviously, and now I'm looking for an alternative.

@jim_bleys Thank you Jim! The estimation is based on the amount of ads you've clicked and the estimated cost per click of that ad. So essentially we're showing you how much money Facebook and Google have earned from you :))

I think this is a very useful service! But I don't quite understand how Rita handles the data she collects - do you somehow process it?

@alxvok Hi Alex, thanks for your kind words! 😊 We don't process any data on our systems. All your collected data is processed locally on your device! Once the data is collected, some computations are done to present you with your dashboard. The only data we store is the email you use to sign up on Rita. The local processing is important to us, because we maintain users' privacy and give you full ownership.
