Hey Product Hunt! About 6 years ago, I made an app that went viral called Cat Facts (catfacts.co). To try to do my part to increase voter turnout, I've spent the last few months repurposing a lot of that project into a new website called PrankToVote.org. It lets you sign your friends up to receive anonymous text message facts about Trump or Biden. To unsubscribe, it’ll prompt the recipient to register to vote right from the website (using Vote.org’s embeddable register widget). I'm hoping this service will make voting hard to ignore and easy to do. I know from the growth of Cat Facts over the years that a product like this can have a massive reach. From what I've seen from adoption so far, I believe PrankToVote.org can have a very real impact on getting untapped, eligible voters to register. It's easier now than ever to vote from your own home and most people don't even know it. Hopefully this can help. I'd love any and all feedback!
